If you've ever lost someone you cared about, if you've loved them long enough to watch them become a stranger, this will pull at your heartstrings. There is a sense of hope throughout this graphic novel. Oh how quickly someone who means so much to you can drift away. I've never read a graphic novel with an ace or non-binary protagonist, so it was a joy to be treated to both. I have really appreciated reading about different queer identities lately, and graphic novels have been a great resource for expanding the diversity of my reading. It strains credulity that one of the twins just happened to be out engaging in a little random street violence so far from their own home base but right where S. As I settled into its rhythm it got better and better, and the general pace really picked up once Barney wasn't stuck in the helpless "Alas! Alack! No one knows it is I!" phase of his adventure. But life has been getting Barney down of late.
